 The video for “The Pow­er of Mu­sic” is chore­ographed with a hip-​hop fla­vor, which pays homage to Michael Jack­son just as Kris­tine W had ded­i­cat­ed on the lin­er notes for the sin­gle. “You get to see some of Michael Jack­son’s moves in there and some hard hit­ting hip-​hop. The track is very hard, and Kris­tine can do that kin­da stuff.” Which of course gets the mind rac­ing! A great dance sin­gle by one of the most en­dur­ing artist of the gen­re, brought to vivid re­al­i­ty by one of the most in­no­va­tive vi­su­al artists work­ing to­day…it can on­ly ex­ceed ex­pec­ta­tion­s!

In this last year alone, Kristine continued to be recognized internationally receiving numerous accolades and being hailed as ‘The Queen of Dance.’ She was voted as one of the top 10 dance divas of all time, sharing the title with artists such as Madonna, Whitney Houston and Janet Jackson and she continues to hold the record for the most consecutive #1 Billboard Dance Hits.

Billboard Magazine, the leading authority on the music industry recently reported that:
With “Be Alright” hitting #1 on Billboard’s dance chart, Kristine W jumps past Donna Summer and Whitney Houston and ties with Mariah Carey at third place among artists with multiple #1s on the Billboard Hot Dance Club Play List.

Madonna tops the chart with 39 #1s, followed by Janet Jackson with 18.  Mariah Carey and Kristine W now tied with 14 chart toppers hold the third place spot pushing Donna Summer to fourth place with 15 #1 songs.  Houston ranks in 5th place with 12 followed closely by Beyonce with 11 songs that have reached the top position.

Billboard Magazine concludes the report stating that
‘Kristine W ranks in second for the most toppers this decade.’

Madonna leads in that span with 17 No. 1s.

KW, with her back up singers:  Malilkah and France put on a Fabulous ONE HOUR show at Halsted Market Days in Chicago this past Sat, performing many of her past hits, and several songs from her fabulous new Album: “The Power of Music”
Had a Great after party with lots of good food, drink, and friends (old and new), at  Todd & Tripp’s house with 12 states represented for the after performance welcome party:  DC, NYC, FLA, IN, OH, WI, CA, NJ, VA, GA, LV, MI, and of course Las Vegas.  A wonderful mix of people to cap off a Fantastic Performance.  Cannot wait for KW’s performance in Milwaukee on Sept 5th, for the National Gay Softball Association World Championship Tournament, Closing Ceremony, and……..then again on Sept 12th for the TPAN (Test Positive Aware Network)  “Aware Affair: Ultra Lounge” Gala in Chicago.  It has been a couple of years since KW has graced the stage in Chicago, and we have truly missed her!
