Fan Mail: Chicago Show 8/1/2009
KW, with her back up singers: Malilkah and France put on a Fabulous ONE HOUR show at Halsted Market Days in Chicago this past Sat, performing many of her past hits, and several songs from her fabulous new Album: “The Power of Music”
Had a Great after party with lots of good food, drink, and friends (old and new), at Todd & Tripp’s house with 12 states represented for the after performance welcome party: DC, NYC, FLA, IN, OH, WI, CA, NJ, VA, GA, LV, MI, and of course Las Vegas. A wonderful mix of people to cap off a Fantastic Performance. Cannot wait for KW’s performance in Milwaukee on Sept 5th, for the National Gay Softball Association World Championship Tournament, Closing Ceremony, and……..then again on Sept 12th for the TPAN (Test Positive Aware Network) “Aware Affair: Ultra Lounge” Gala in Chicago. It has been a couple of years since KW has graced the stage in Chicago, and we have truly missed her!

You Hot, Sexy, Classy, Brillant, Genuine, and Heart Filled DIVA. It was great seeing you and hearing you at Market Days. I had to bring a few roses for the best flower in the garden–YOU! You looked and sounded beautiful as usual.
It is hard to believe that it was ten years since our Party at the House of Blues. I will always remember how you stayed at the coat check that night until the last person left signing autographs thanking your fans for coming. Then you realy blew me away when we said our goodbyes and you remembered my name and the name of my then lover. You showed me what a truly special and wonderful person YOU ARE.
As you may know, BUC, my best friend and love who played Your “Land of the Living” as the night’s peak song at the closing party in Washing DC for the last full showing of the AIDS Quilt, is no longer among the Land of the Living (at least not here on earth). I miss him every day…and I know you know what that feels like. He passed away at 4:30pm on New Year’s Eve 2000/2001. He LOVED YOU, as so many do…because they broke the mold when GOD made YOU!!! And thank GOD he made YOU and gave you the ability, talent and gift to touch SO MANY.
Please feel free to stay in touch…and if you ever need anything, just ask. For all the beauty and joy you have given me through your music, personality, smile and success…I would do anything for you! Keep the words and feelings coming, hit after hit! And you make sure when anyone refersw to you as “The DIVA”, they swpell DIVA in all caps, because there is only one…and it’s YOU!!!

This was a cool article you did on your website. I hope there is more till i come back next time. Then i collected some article about my favorite DJ Teams to share with you.
